On the climax of the women’s ministry celebration, the topic treated was a woman’s reflection of God’s glory. The topic was broken into pieces for better understanding:
A woman was defined to be an adult female human being who is the opposite of the male. Cultural perceptions of a woman were also discussed and according to Greek culture men thank God for not being a woman but most importantly according to God’s perceptive women are the fine creation of God without whom creation would not have been complete.
Reflection was said to be:
★the production of an image as in the mirror
★To give back or exhibit as an image
★A likeness or an outline
Furthermore, we learn that the fruits of the spirit should be reflected and you cannot produce something you don’t have
Things to reflect on
-Do you know yourself?
– how have you defined yourself?
– do you know what God made you to be?
Note: When you know your flaws do well to change them.
God’s glory was defined as the beauty originated from. We also learn that His being should be as an image of our lives
★A place where you live
★ A dwelling place
Questions to reflect on
– who is in charge of your home?
– are you keeping a house or a home
As a daughter
As a sister
As a wife
As a mother
– does your home reflect the fruits of the spirit?
-how do you want your home to be remembered?
Qualities of a good home
We also learn that we should brand our home so that its brand will become the glory of God
Note: We should;
Build a home (provide a haven)
Keep a home(be organized)
Maintain a home (know the difference between important and unimportant things)
1 Corinthians 12:3
Reflecting the glory of God in the home must be an everyday duty for a Christian with this our home can be a safe haven for all which in turn glorifies God.
